Photo safari Manyeleti, South Africa

Photo safari Manyeleti

From an open game-drive jeep you get to photograph the wildlife at Mayeleti. The focus will be on big cats, but every possibility of taking a great picture will be taken. You will also be given the opportunity to do special evening photography. Using large spotlights two cars can, in turn, light up the animals from the rear or from the side. This play of light and shadow gives you the opportunity to make unique photographs. The tour is guided by 3 professional photographers (e.g. Jan Vermeer a famous National Geographic photographer and winner of NHM/BBC awards). Although primarily tailored towards photography, this trip is also very suitable for non photographing partners.

Programme phototrip Manyeleti

You arrive at Mantobeni early in the afternoon, our tented camp for the next five nights. After a welcome drink you’ll be given a short briefing and are then led to your room. From 15.30-19.30 every afternoon and from 5.30-10 each morning you go out on a game drive in an open safari jeep, especially converted for photography trips. A guide, a tracker and a professional photographer ensure a fantastic experience. In the early afternoon you are given the opportunity to join the group photo workshop about the use of Lightroom/Photoshop. At these sessions professionals will also answer all your questions about cameras, lenses, and photography. All meals on this photo trip are inclusive. The lodge is situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve which in turn is part of ‘The Greater Kruger Area‘. Here animals migrate freely in an area of 26.300 hectare.
