From an open game-drive jeep you get to photograph the wildlife at Sabi Sand. The focus will be on leopards and lions, but every possibility of taking a great picture will be taken. Professional photographers will aid and assist you whenever needed. You will also be given the opportunity to do special evening photography in which these photographers are specialised, Using large spotlights two cars can, in turn, light up the animals from the rear or from the side. This play of light and shadow gives you the opportunity to make unique photographs. Although primarily tailored towards photography, this trip is also very suitable for non photographing partners.
You arrive at the lodge early in the afternoon, where after a welcome drink you’ll be given a short briefing and are then led to your room. From four to seven every afternoon and from five to nine thirty each morning you go out on a game drive in an open safari jeep, especially converted for photography trips. A guide, a tracker and a professional photographer ensure a fantastic experience. In the early afternoon you are given the opportunity to join the group photo workshop about the use of Lightroom. At these sessions professionals will also answer all your questions about cameras, lenses, and photography. All meals on this photo trip are inclusive. The lodge is situated in Sabi Sand Game Reserve which in turn is part of ‘The Greater Kruger Area‘. Here animals migrate freely in an area of 26.300 hectare.
