A 9-day African photo safari (8 nights) at Mashatu in Botswana is a fantastic opportunity to capture images of leopards, lions, elands, herds of elephants, and sometimes cheetahs.
The game drives occur twice daily, in the morning and in the afternoon/evening, coinciding with the best times for photography. Particularly in the summer, the Mashatu landscape is unique, often adorned with an abundance of flowers.
The maximum number of guests for this Botswana journey is 8, with 2 professional photographers divided between two vehicles. We travel with local guides in open game drive vehicles.
A stay at Mashatu can be seamlessly integrated into a customized South African trip and is also highly appealing to non-photographing companions.
Van Bommel Safaris donates almost the entire proceeds from this trip to Children in the Wilderness (CITW) project. The purpose of Children in the Wildernesss is a life skills and environmental education program focusing on children living in villages near the reserve.
